Personal breastfeeding experience: I breastfed my child for 23 months. I had a preterm lscs at 34 weeks but despite that and with the support of my friends and family my baby thrived on just breastmilk. He dint require nicu or any top feed. I had to discontinue at 23 months as my baby was having sleep issues and I was misinformed that stopping breastfeeding could help in that. I thoroughly enjoyed my breastfeeding journey, the only time when it was just me and my sweet child in a bubble of love.
