Personal breastfeeding experience: I am a mother of two grown children. I exclusively breastfed both of them for the first six months and continued breastfeeding until they were about one and a half years old, making my total breastfeeding journey span three years. At the time, I was unfamiliar with the concept of self-weaning. My breastfeeding experience with both of my children was calm, smooth, and deeply fulfilling—it was comfortable, enjoyable, and completely pain-free. With this experience, I now feel inspired to motivate and support new mothers on their breastfeeding journey. I want to reassure them that breastfeeding can be a beautiful and rewarding experience, and with the right knowledge, patience, and support, it can become a natural and empowering part of motherhood.
