Personal breastfeeding experience: Mother of one , breastfed for 2 years : with a pretty eventful journey ; Premature delivery, NICU admission, , initial weightloss, reassessing for jaundice, difficulties latching, pumping, cup feeding, bottle feeding,eventually direct breastfeed ing, slow feeds, oversupply, nursing strikes, colic, GERD , cow milk protein allergy, blocked ducts , milk blebs,breastfeeding while geing the sole caregiver for several months during covid lockdowns and quarantines, difficulties in solids, working pumping while working and night duties while working in hospital during covid (24 hour plus hous) , while dealing with pelvic girdle pain,wrist synovitis for few months and prolonged post partum depression needing medication … an eventful but joyful and amazingly beautiful breastfeeding journey which was 1000 times worth the pain..
